How It Works – Our LSR Injection Molding Process

Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) Injection Molding is a precision process to manufacture high quality silicone parts.The process is to use two components low-viscosity liquid rubber to mold silicone elastomer .The two liquid components,which are called component A and component B,are pumped from two individual drums, metered in precise ration ,mixed statically and then injected into a heated mold cavity .Upon contact with the high-temperature mold, the material undergoes a rapid thermosetting reaction (vulcanization/crosslinking), transforming from a low-viscosity liquid into a flexible, durable solid elastomer.
